Vidhyalaxmi Bond Yojana

Vidhyalaxmi Bond Scheme has been introduced to increase the rate of Kanya-Kelvani education in the entire state by enrolling 100 per cent Kanya girls in the villages with less than 5% female literacy and for the newly admitted students to continue their studies till Std-8.

Matter of closing Vidhyalaxmi Bond Scheme implemented from academic year 2002-2003

Vidhyalaxmi bonds are also given to the daughters of the family. A bond amount of Rs.1000 /- is given to each girl who gets new school admission in standard 1. 3 lakh girls get Rs. 20 crore Vidhyalaxmi bonds were given.

When he passes standard 8, the amount of the bond and the amount of his interest will be given to the bride. 

Matter of closing Vidhyalaxmi Bond Scheme implemented from academic year 2003-2003. Regarding the above subject, to state that with the resolution dated 18/05/2021 regarding the Department of Education, the "Vahali Dikari Yojana" of the Department of Women and Child Development should be implemented from the year 2020-21, the number of beneficiaries and girls in the State.

Vidhyalaxmi Bond Yojana has been made to be closed from 01/04/2021 for the purpose of benefiting the girls of the state on a large scale and not in a double manner.
