Fit India School Week 2020 Virtual Celebration
Schools to ensure that all students, parents, staff and administration actively participate in the Fit India School Week 2020 program
Schools can create a new page on their website titled “Fit India School Week 2020” and a summary of the activities carried out and related photos / videos can be uploaded to it.
Schools must register at https://fitindia.gov.in/fit-india-school-week and upload photos and video links related to the event.
All registered schools can download a digital certificate that can be downloaded from the Fit India portal after successful completion of Fit India School Week.
Schools are also encouraged to share / post activities carried out on their social media channels with #NewIndiaFitIndia and tag @FitIndiaOff
On August 29, 2019, the Honorable Prime Minister launched the "Fit India Movement" nationwide with the aim of encouraging people to instill physical activity and sport in their daily life and daily routine.
School is the first place where habits are formed. School-aged children should be encouraged to enjoy active field time during school hours that involves sports and fitness activities.
This will instill in students an understanding of regular physical activity and higher levels of fitness, thereby enhancing their self-esteem and confidence. With these goals in mind, the Fit India School Week program was launched in 2019.
This year, schools will virtually celebrate “Fit India School Week” in December.
Track your workout with your phone or watch
Get instant information when you exercise and see real-time statistics of your runs, walks and bike rides. Fit will use your Android phone's sensor or use the operating system through the Google Smartwatch heart rate sensors to record your speed, speed, route, and more.

Count all your movements
If you walk, run, or bike all day, your Android phone or software operating system will automatically detect your activities in your Google Fit Journal via Google Smartwatch and make sure you get credit for every move. Do you enjoy different types of workouts? Pick it from a list of activities like Pilates, rowing or spinning and Google Fit will track all the heart points you earn.
